Sports and lifestyle nutrition contract manufacturing with ready-to-mix powder production and packaging options including tubs, pouches and stick packs.
State grams per serving, servings per pack and the number of packs. Ask how the manufacturer accounts for material overage and production yield. A powder batch minimum and a jar minimum can both apply to the same project.
02
Define blending, filling and material costs
Separate the ingredients, blending work, filling, container, closure, label and retail packout. Ask whether your quote covers materials purchased by the manufacturer or tolling with materials you supply.
03
Choose the actual packaging route
A jar, pouch and stick pack are different production briefs. Confirm the company supports the requested format and formula, then compare flavor development, testing, artwork and packaging approval requirements.

Questions about powder manufacturing
What minimum order should I expect for powders?
There is no single directory-wide minimum. Paragon publishes a typical minimum of 5,000 powder jars per run, with 10,000 jars for protein powders. NAI publishes 10,000 bottles or bags for its high-volume offering. Confirm product fit, pack size and any exceptions directly.
Is a lower price per kilogram always cheaper?
Not for the same launch unless the included work and finished quantity also match. Compare the full budget, expected saleable packs, packaging costs and cash committed to unused inventory.
Can I supply my own ingredients?
Some manufacturers offer tolling or customer-supplied-material arrangements. Confirm accepted specifications, supplier documents, receiving checks, minimum material quantities and responsibility for unused stock.
