THE STICKPAX EXPERIENCE

Why we believe in
showing the numbers.

Brands shouldn’t spend weeks finding out that a manufacturer is outside their budget. A useful price range helps both sides decide whether to take the next step.

StickPax’s experience with upfront pricing shaped Comanufactured: make the economics visible earlier, so brands and manufacturers can start more useful conversations.

USEFUL FOR BOTH SIDES

A clearer path to the first conversation.

Brands need to know the likely spend. Manufacturers need to know the run fits.

01

Explore the fit

Review product capabilities, available price ranges and minimum orders. See which manufacturers could work for your product and budget.

02

Share the essentials

Describe your product, quantity and unit, budget, timing and formula readiness. One clear brief gives both sides a useful starting point.

03

Review the next step

Comanufactured reviews your brief and the manufacturer’s participation. An introduction requires your permission and a manufacturer willing to consider the project.

Send your brief with or without a shortlist. Comanufactured reviews it and follows up by email, aiming to respond within one business day. We confirm the next step with you before sharing details with a manufacturer.

Will Comanufactured expand beyond supplements?

Yes. We’re building our model with supplements first: clearer costs, useful order requirements and better connections between brands and manufacturers. As the platform grows, we plan to expand into other product categories. Today, our directory and project requests focus on supplements.

How much does supplement manufacturing cost?

Formula, ingredients, quantity, packaging and testing all affect the cost. A useful range identifies the product, production quantity, included work and exclusions. Published ranges help you assess the likely spend; a scoped manufacturer quote confirms the price. If a manufacturer has not approved a public range, the listing says Request pricing.

Do all manufacturers have to publish pricing?

No. Public pricing is optional. We encourage manufacturers to share ranges for representative products and quantities, so brands can assess the likely economics before reaching out. Manufacturers can also choose to discuss pricing when a brand makes an inquiry.

Is a price range a confirmed quote?

No. A range is a planning guide for a stated scope and quantity. Setup, ingredients, packaging, testing, freight and tax may be additional. Check the inclusions and exclusions, then ask the manufacturer to confirm the complete scope in a formal quote.

What if my product needs custom formulation?

Custom ingredients, development and testing may need a technical review before they can be priced. A manufacturer can explain the known costs and what remains to be quoted. An unresolved cost is not zero, and a standard-product range may not apply to your formula.

How do quantity and budget help manufacturers assess fit?

Manufacturers have minimum orders, preferred production runs and capabilities. Your quantity and unit, budget, timing and formula readiness help them decide whether your project suits their business. If a detail is unknown, say so. A possible fit still needs manufacturer review; it does not confirm interest or capacity.

Do I need an account to browse or request a quote?

No Comanufactured account is needed. Choose companies or ask us to help find a manufacturer, then send your project brief. Comanufactured reviews your requirements and follows up with you. A researched listing does not mean the company has joined or agreed to review requests. We confirm permission and manufacturer interest before sharing your brief.

How does Comanufactured make money?

Applying and browsing are free. Manufacturers can choose the commission plan: 5% of eligible first-order receipts and 3% of attributed reorder receipts in perpetuity, with no fixed attribution end date. Alternatively, bypass commissions with a subscription at $299/month or $10,000/year, with 0% commissions while the subscription is active. Plan changes and their effective dates must be agreed before taking effect; choosing a preference does not activate billing. Brands pay manufacturers directly. An optional $750 sourcing sprint covers brief review, a targeted shortlist and one RFQ/quote coordination round. Terms must be agreed before a paid service, subscription or commission applies. Applying does not start billing. Paid participation requires a separate agreement. Fees do not change directory ordering. Paid homepage features are labeled as sponsored.

What happens after a manufacturer applies?

Comanufactured reviews the company, its capabilities and the applicant’s authority. We agree the profile content and commercial terms before participation. Applying does not immediately publish a profile or guarantee inquiries. Public pricing is optional; a claim does not give access to an existing profile until it is verified.
